About Richard

Richard graduated from Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Architectural Engineering. His career began in Lake Tahoe, CA  where he immediately had opportunities to work on some of the most spectacular homes and projects in the West, including Hawaii, Montana, Nevada and the California coast. Spending twenty years in the Sierra Nevada and twenty one years here in Franklin, Richard's portfolio includes commercial projects as well, collaborating on resort architecture and engineering, office buildings, and other venues like Rocketown in Nashville. Richard is licensed in five states and has also built custom homes. He loves the process of creating a home from the ground up, bringing his expertise to the specific placement of the structure on the lot, taking into consideration view, sun, privacy and structural strength, as well as the knowledge he's acquired over the years, often being part of a team of individuals who are masters at their craft.

He hopes to spend another twenty years on the Square, creating beautiful spaces and providing structural integrity for clients here in Tennessee and across the country.
